Carbon Steel Boiler Plate
We can provide boiler plate to the following standards: ASTM, ASME, BS1501, EN10207, EN10025, EN10028 and DIN. Plate thicknesses are between 3 mm and 200 mm. If you have a specification in a particular standard, your requirement can often be met through using an equivalent material for example ASTM A 516 60 is equivalent to ASME SA 516 60.

Wear Resistant Plates
We can provide a wide range of abrasion resistant plates. Plates are typically available in 400 HB and 500HB, but other specifications are available on request. Plates are available in dimensions from 5 – 100mm thick and from 1000mm to 3000mmm and up to 12000mm long. Grades that are available include:

It is always possible to buy cheaper steel. There are two ways to do this, one good and one bad. The good way is to buy a lot of steel at once. If you need 500MT we can use our buying power with the mills to offer you an even better price.
The bad way is accept lower quality. This can be done in a number of ways – relaxing testing requirements or certification or deciding to source from countries which are able to supply very low priced steel.
If you are considering buying steel from China, India or Eastern Europe we are not the supplier you are looking for. If quality is critical or you have an exact specification which you must meet then our steel is likely to fit your need.
