EN10225 S355G10+M steel plates are kept in stock for customers in the offshore and oil and gas sectors. Like all our steel plates the focus is providing out customers with high quality plates, great availability both in thickness and dimensions and sufficient numbers of plates so that we can meet most enquiries directly from our own stock.

Offshore steel plates to EN10225 S355G10+M are produced by Dillinger and have 3.2 certification to EN10204. They are certified by either Lloyds Register of Shipping (LRS) or DNV (Det Norske Veritas) depending on the thickness.

There are lots of possibilities for certification and we have stocks of plates that are dual or triple certified to cover more client requirements

Most plates are to G10+M, but we also have plates to Norsok MDS Y20, API  specification 2w Grade 50 and quadruple certified to S355G7+N/ S355 G8+N/ S355G9+N and S355G10+N. The focus is always on being able to provide you with either the primary plate requirement in your offshore specification or one of the alternative grades that is pre-approved.

This can significantly improve the time taken to get the MTO agreed with the client and plates delivered to site – thus accelerating the production schedule for the platform or FPSO that you are building

S355G10+M Offshore Plates from Dillinger

Like all of our offshore plates the S353G10+M plates are supplied by Dillinger Hutte (the parent company of AncoferWaldram) and have one of the best reputations for steel quality in the world. There are many reasons for this reputation of quality; the two main ones are the exceptionally low phosphorus and sulphur content in the steel and the excessive force supplied by the rolling mill at Dillingen that gives an exceptionally good steel microstructure.

This delivers offshore steel plates that are superb at meeting the tough requirements of life at sea. Year after year.

S355 G10 + M plates do not come with CE marking as EN10225 doesn’t come under the requirements of the Construction Products Directive unlike all our structural steel plates to EN10025 which do.

S355G10+M Z35 Testing

We also stock S355G10+M Z35 plates with through testing as per option 13 (See EN10225 page 29). All S355G8+M and S355G10+M plates are delivered with Z-35 through testing ex-mill as required by EN10225.

Other offshore grades available include S355G8+MAPI 2W-50, S420G2+MS460G2+M and S460ML
