Oakley Steel is a specialist steel stockholder focusing in boiler and chrome
moly steel plates. We stock pressure vessel quality plate
in ASME and ASTM grades principally for use in the oil and gas industry.
We have over 10,000 + MT of boiler plate available ex-stock in A516 and A387 grades with plates up to 200mm thick, 4m wide or 14m long immediately available.
Our customer base is worldwide with most customers being based in the
Far East. They come to Oakley Steel when they have a requirement for
European carbon steel plate which cannot be supplied locally or where
exact specifications need to be met.For these customers our Antwerp warehouse and dedicated global shipping team provides fast and efficient shipment whilst our multi-cultural export sales team speaks more than a dozen languages making communication easier.
As a niche steel stockholder we focus on a limited number of grades to ensure a wide range of plates, good availability and a competitive price. In ASTM A 516 we stock grades 60 and 70, whilst in ASTM A 387 we stock grades 5, 11, 12 and 22. We also have a large tonnage of HIC resistant steel plate to ASTM A516 in grades 60, 65 and 70.
Our steel is all from Western European manufacturer and the vast majority comes from Germany and France. It is certified to EN10028 3.1 or 3.2 and can be further tested to your specific requirements.
